Bellingham could do no wrong for Madrid last season following his move from Borussia Dortmund. He scored 23 goals and bagged 13 assists, grabbed multiple match-winners and helped his side to a La Liga and Champions League double. This term, however, he has struggled with injury, form, and playing in a different position. The 21-year-old's performance on Saturday, however, appears to show that his persistence is paying off.
Bellingham — who came third in the 2024 Ballon d'Or — could next feature for England in their upcoming Nations League matches against Greece and the Republic of Ireland before returning to play for Madrid later this month.
